This photo was taken by me using my phone. So, mind the quality. So, let’s see what I can do with this photo. This is Morgan btw; my housemate. That’s the best thing of being my housemate; you have your own personal photographer. LOL!
This is the raw photo.
Now I’ll sharpen the photo. Review this post for the tutorial.
Now we will smooth-up the surface but still keep the sharp edges. FILTER>BLUR>SURFACE BLUR

Now adjust the photo level. LAYER>NEW ADJUSTMENT LAYER>LEVELS

Now we will do some color adjustment. Go to LAYER>NEW ADJUSTMENT LAYER>SELECTIVE COLOR

Now we will choose a cold color scheme, blue. LAYER>NEW ADJUSTMENT LAYER>PHOTO FILTER

Now we will give it some lighting effect by adding a ‘frame’ to the photo. Go to LAYER>NEW ADJUSTMENT LAYER>GRADIENT

Now that is done, take your erase tool and erase the center of the gradient layer and leave the edges. Use a big erase tool size (460pxs will do it just fine) and 0% hardness. This is what you should get.
And to give it some ‘edginess’ to the photo, I’ll be using my brush. I will be using a smoke brush. You can use any similar brush that you have. Depends on your taste.
Use the brush on a new layer.
Now erase the smoke on one side of the leg to give an illusion as if the smoke passed through him and not a pasted on effect.

And there you have it. Very simple one ha? Enjoy the tutorial. I have an engagement to attend. DA....

(3) Christmas Stereotypes : "X-mas"?
I am a very celebrative person that I love every celebration that I celebrate. Not to mention Christmas. Christmas is my favorite one; Caroling and stuff. But as much as we love to celebrate Christmas, not many of us know the true meaning of Christmas. What does Christmas means to you?
You may relate Christmas with bell.
Colorful balls?
Santa Claus?
I’m not saying that all of this is wrong but make sure that we not forgetting the true reason of celebrating Christmas. Merry Christmas people!!!!
Owh, don’t ever use ‘X-mas’ to spell Christmas ever again. Why do you use ‘X’ to replace Christ name? Then you should convert your religion to “X-ian” and not Christian??? Gosh!
Does this look right to you guys?

(2) Changes: My Old Edited Photo
Last Saturday, I met an old friend of mine. We attended the same class together when we were in secondary school. The funny thing is I can’t remember name but I do recognize her face. So, I tried to avoid a conversation that involving her name. When she first saw me she said, “Cass, is that you?”. I replied, “Yes, it’s me”. She said that as if she barely recognized me. What I'm trying to say here is it’s amazing how much we had changed without we realizing it. It’s impossible for us to see our own changes when we look at the mirror every day :p.
So, I had gathered some of my old edited photo that I haven’t post on my blog, I think so. In a hope of preserving the old me where that was the original purpose of this blog anyway.
Speaking of changes, how do you like my new banner and stuff? Do you like it? I have been working on it for the past three days. Fuh!
So, enjoy the photo. Do drop some comment. I would be more than pleased receiving it.

(1) Many Versions: 'Loyal' Model
I have a lot of version for this photo. I think this photo is a great shot but my problem with great-shot-photo is that I feel like I will ruin the photo if I edit it. So, I did some versions but never had satisfied me. But this is my top 2 versions of this photo, I think.
Anyway, I have to apologies for the late post this time. It’s just that I don’t spend much time on my laptop lately due to my excitement of staying at kampung; a lot of exciting things to do here.
This is the raw shot of this photo. I snapped this photo months ago and this is my most ‘loyal’ model, Nick. :D
This is my first design. I try to make a sepia color scheme.
And this is the one that I edited most recently. This time I did a colder color scheme, blue.
Nick also did edited this photo. He edited it to black and white photo.
Which one do you think the best represent the photo?
