(2) St. Matthew’s Karu Chapel: Consecration

25 September 2010 was a peak occasion after weeks of hard work of preparation done by people of Kampung Karu. It was a consecration of St. Matthew’s Karu Chapel new building by the Rt. Revd. Datuk Bolly Lapok, Lord Bishop of Kuching.

The previous chapel was unable to occupy the increasing number of Christians in Kampung Karu, and it had come to their awareness that they need a bigger and more comfortable chapel which they can afford.



So, I was lucky enough to witness the consecration and managed to snap some pictures to preserve the memory of the big occasion.
