(1) Family Day: Kem Permai, Santubong Part 1

The place where Angie is doing her internship, organized a family day which was on last 2 weeks, 25th June 2011. Since I was free, I accompanied her to the family day at Kem Permai, Santubong.




We made a move around 7.30am and reached there around 8.30am. Even though we were on time, we were actually lost. Lol. (Yet we call our self a Sarawakian.) Don’t put the blame on me, Angie was navigating. She was confident that she had the right path. Luckily we have GPS.



When we reached there, they were still not ready. As we thought that we were late, half of them came much later than us.



So the activity started with a brief speech from someone I believe is important (I don’t really know them) and then breakfast.

And can someone enlighten me how this attire is right for a beach? And how do she think she gonna join the games?



They organized some games to fill the day but they started quite late, around 10-11am. It was super hot! Not that I'm afraid of the sun and afraid of getting tanned, (fyi, i do purposely tanned my skin) it's just that it was piercing hot!

They should start the games around 9-11, lunch and free activity by the afternoon, and start the games again around 4pm. Just a suggestion. =P

Anyway, the games that they organized was fun to watch! And these are the prizes for the winners. And yes, I didn't win anything! LOL



This game was to pull the thread out of the flour. Just for kids.



This was a game for the adults. Here how the game goes. Run to the other side of the beach to a chair where a balloon is located.



Give the balloon a blow job!



Sit on it until it bursts! Omg, that sounds dirty. =p And run back to your original place! Simple! Why did I explained it?



Simple games like these are funny to watch! Where else can you see some adults fool them self for a hamper? Don't believe me? Just look at this auntie laughing.



Next they played volleyball.



I was not interested to watch the games, so after that, I went for a walk along the beach with Angie. Plus I was intimidated to take any photo of them because they were using such fancy DSLR and I was just using my 'cute' compact. hahhaha

P/s: Angie lost her father 2 days ago due to heart attack (As I was told). Condolence to her family and may Mr. Noah rest in peace. Amen.
